Full Review – Char-Broil Double Header TRU-Infrared

While this gas grill uses Char-Broil's patented infrared technology, making it very efficient, the dual hood design makes little sense. Basically, this is a large, four burner gas grill, but divided into two entirely independent sections. It might seem that this adds versatility, but since this technology is best used for direct grilling, it simply means that for large cookouts, you have to lift twice as many lids. There is little advantage in from this, other than a more expensive four-burner gas grill. For instance, the Char-Broil Commercial 4-Burner has everything this grill does, but at $200USD less. If you are set on a Char-Broil infrared, but bother with this model. Save some money.
